The opening social of the year — where the community meets.
The Icebreaker is the Federation's opening social event of the academic year, organised at Mamuśka! — the much-loved Polish bar and restaurant in London Waterloo.
This year's edition brought together around 200 Polish students from universities across London and beyond to meet, have a drink and chat — many of them meeting the wider community for the very first time. The evening also saw the introduction of the new Federation committee for the 2025/26 academic year, setting the tone for everything that followed: the Polish Youth Congress, the Christmas Dinner, the debate at the Sikorski Institute and the Polish Business Forum.
