Wigilia away from home — a Polish Christmas Eve feast for 100 students.
Our annual flagship Christmas Dinner brought together 100 Polish students at the Ognisko Restaurant in South Kensington. Guests sat down to enjoy a traditional three-course meal, followed by drinks and Christmas carol singing — a taste of a Polish family Christmas for students spending the festive season away from home.
The evening has become one of the Federation's most loved traditions: a chance to slow down at the end of term, share kolędy with friends old and new, and celebrate the community we've built across the UK.
A special thank you goes to Roksana Dąbkowska, a pianist from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, for accompanying our Christmas carols at the piano throughout the evening.
